In VivoApyramide is far less toxic than indomethacin in rats and mice by the oral or the i.p. route. It exhibits anti-inflammatory activity on carrageenin-induced paw oedema, cotton pellet granuloma and adjuvant arthritis, as well as analgesic and antipyretic activities.
