DescriptionDeoxyandrographolide potentiates NGF-induced neurite outgrowth. Deoxyandrographolide suppresses the production of proinflammatory mediators TNF-α and IL-6.(In Vitro):Deoxyandrographolide showed inhibitory activity on LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells.(In Vivo):In L6 myotubes, Deoxyandrographolide dose-dependently stimulated glucose uptake by enhancing the translocation of glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) to cell surface, without affecting the total cellular GLUT4 and GLUT1 content. These effects of Deoxyandrographolide were additive to insulin.
