Methyl maslinate can be used in studies about hypertension.(In Vivo):Methyl maslinate (20-60 mg/kg; i.p.) shows vasodepressor and sinus bradycardia effects in a dose-dependent manner. Methyl maslinate lasts more than 60 min with a maximum of 20 min with potent hemodynamic effects.

Methyl maslinate (MM) (20-60 mg/kg; i.p.) shows significant, dose-dependent vasodepressor effect and sinus bradycardia, lasting more than 60 minutes with a maximum at 20 minutes, and shows potent hymodynamic effect.Methyl maslinate (40 mg/kg) shows antidysrhythmic activity on ischemia-reperfusion dysrhythmia. Animal Model:Wistar male rats (300-320 g)Dosage:20-60 mg/kg Administration:Intraperitoneal injection; once Result:Showed significant, dose-response vasodepressor effect and sinus bradicardia.
