DescriptionSodium Camptothecin is a plant alkaloid, with antitumor activity. Sodium Camptothecin is a reversible inhibitor of RNA synthesis. Sodium Camptothecin is an effective inhibitor of adenovirus replication. Sodium Camptothecin inhibits DNA synthesis and causes breaks in intracellular preformed viral DNA .(In Vitro):Sodium Camptothecin (5 μM; 10 min) causes a severe inhibition of heterogeneously sedimenting nuclear RNA (HnRNA) synthesis . Sodium Camptothecin also blocks a specific step in the processing of ribosomal precursor RNA, allowing the conversion of 45S RNA to 32S RNA, but inhibiting the conversion of 32S RNA to 28S RNA .

5-Fluoroorotic acid
5-Fluoroorotic acid is an inhibitor of thymidylate synthase. 5-Fluoroorotic is a selective agent in yeast molecular genetics.5-Fluoroorotic possesses a well-expressed anticandidal effect close to that of 5-fluorocytosine, as well as moderate antidermatophytal effects.
-
Holomycin
Holomycin (N-Demethylthiolutin) is a secondary metabolite of dithiopyrrolidone. HolomycinHolomycin, an antibiotic secondary metabolite, is required for the biofilm formation of natural photogenic Bacillus galatheae S2753 and is also a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
-
Hydroxyurea
Hydroxyurea is an antineoplastic agent that inhibits DNA synthesis through the inhibition of ribonucleoside diphosphate reductase.
