Brief DescriptionHerniarin is a natural coumarin with antitumor effect.
-
DescriptionHerniarin is a natural coumarin with antitumor effect.(In Vitro):Herniarin is cytotoxic to breast carcinoma cell line MCF-7 with an IC50 of 207.6 μM. Herniarin (100 μM) also induces apoptosis in MCF-7 cells. Herniarin alone has no obvious cytotoxicity on transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) cells, but when in combination with 5 μg/mL cisplatin, Herniarin (80 μg/mL) potently enhances the antitumor effect of cisplatin, and increases chromatin condensation.

Retinyl propionate
Vitamin A Propionate is an ester compound of vitamin A. In nutritional studies of foals, different doses have different effects on growth, serum biochemistry and hematological indicators. Too high or too low doses will produce adverse effects and are related to the vitamin A concentration in plasma, liver and kidneys.

Amylin, amide, human
Amylin, a 37-amino acid polypeptide that is structurally related to calcitonin, is secreted from the B cells of the pancreas. Amylin has anoretic effects in rats. Amylin may be responsible for the etiology of insulin resistance of type II diabetes mellitus through its modulation of peripheral effects of insulin.
