LLP2A is a high-affinity, selective peptidomimetic ligand of α4β1 integrin with IC50 of 2 pM; shows no binding affinity for α2β1, α6β1, αLβ2 and αMβ2 integrins; can be used to image α4β1-expressing lymphomas with high sensitivity and specificity when conjugated to a near infrared fluorescent dye in a mouse xenograft model.
