Brief DescriptionA small-molecule influenza A nucleoprotein (NP) inhibitor that triggers the aggregation of NP and inhibits its nuclear accumulation.
-
DescriptionA small-molecule influenza A nucleoprotein (NP) inhibitor that triggers the aggregation of NP and inhibits its nuclear accumulation; inhibits infection of MDCK cells by viruses influenza A/WSN/33, H3N2 (clinical isolate) and Vietnam/1194/04 (H5N1) with EC50 of 0.069 uM, 0.16 uM and 0.33 uM in PRA, respectively; protects mice challenged with lethal doses of avian influenza A H5N1; also targets cytoplasmic trafficking of viral ribonucleoprotein-Rab11 complexes in influenza A virus infection.Influenza Preclinical.
-
In VitroNucleozin inhibits infection of MDCK cells by the viruses influenza A/WSN/33, H3N2 and Vietnam/1194/04 (H5N1) with an EC50 of 0.069 μM, 0.16 μM and 0.33 μM in plaque reduction assay (PRA) , respectively, severely suppresses viral growth at 0.1 μM and totally inhibites virus production at 1 μM in multicycle growth assays.
