Brief DescriptionPhenformin (BRN 1977317) is a biguanide compound with anticancer and anti-glycemic activity, inhibits skin tumor growth and promotes keratinocyte differentiation and apoptosis.
-
DescriptionPhenformin (1-phenethylbiguanide) is an orally active antidiabetic and anticancer agent. Phenformin has an incidence of associated lactic acidosis. Phenformin acts through acting AMPK activation and blocking mTOR pathway. Phenformin is also a substrate of P-glycoprotein (P-gp), and an OXPHOS inhibitor. Phenformin induces cancer cell apoptosis.

3'-Hydroxypterostilb...
3'-Hydroxypterostilbene a natural pterostilbene analogue effectively inhibits the growth of human colon cancer cells with IC50s of 9.0 40.2 and 70.9 μM for COLO 205 HCT-116 and HT-29 cells respectively by inducing apoptosis and autophagy.
-
PBOX 6
PBOX 6 is a pyrrolo-1,5-benzoxazepine (PBOX) compound exhibiting anticancer and antitumor activity by inhibiting breast cancer cell growth in vitro and selectively inducing apoptosis in leukemia cells through c-Jun NH2 terminal kinase-dependent phosphorylation and inactivation of Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL.
-
Bigelovin
Bigelovin is a selective retinoid X receptor α agonist.?Bigelovin suppresses tumor growth through inducing apoptosis and autophagy via the inhibition of mTOR pathway regulated by ROS generation. It is also known as a potent cytotoxic sesquiterpene lactone from Inula sp.
