Certolizumab pegol (Certolizumab) is a polyethylene glycolated and humanized anti-TNF-α monoclonal antibody for the study of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA).

Certolizumab pegol (Certolizumab) is a recombinant, polyethylene glycolylated, antigen-binding fragment of a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets and neutralizes tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Certolizumab pegol can be used for rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn disease research.

Animal Model:Healthy Wistar Albino male rats weighing 180 to 200 g, acute edematous pancreatitis was induced via intraperitoneal injection of 80 μg/kg Cerulein (HY-A0190) (20 μg/kg, 4 times at 1-hour intervals)Dosage:10 μg Administration: Intraperitoneal administration, single dose Result:Significantly decreased the serum levels of amylase, lipase, and lactate dehydrogenase. Histopathological edema, hemorrhage, parenchymal necrosis, and infiltration scores were also decreased, along with a decrease in malondialdehyde, myeloperoxidase, TNF-α, and caspase-3 activities.
