Animal Model:C57BL/6JRccHsd WT mice, transgenic M83 mice expressing human α-syn A53T, and transgenic bacterial artificial chromosome mice expressing human α-syn A53T were anesthetized and stereotaxically injected with α-syn preformed fibrils (PFFs) into the right forebrain Dosage:30 mg/kg Administration:Intraperitoneal (i.p.) injections 2-3 times prior to α-syn PFF injection and weekly post-injection until time of sacrifice Result:Attenuated the spreading of α-syn pathology, rescued motor impairments, and reduced the loss of dopamine transporter density in dopaminergic terminals in striatum.
