Brief DescriptionPalmitoyl CoA lithium (Palmitoyl coenzyme A lithium) is a major component of fatty acids involved in the carnitine shuttle system, beta-oxidation, and the tricarboxylic acid cycle, and can be used to study metabolic disorders in the body.
-
DescriptionPalmitoyl coenzyme A lithium is an acyl-CoA thioester that can be transported into the mitochondrial matrix via the carnitine shuttle system and is involved in β-oxidation. Palmitoyl coenzyme A lithium can also be used as a substrate for sphingosine biosynthesis.
-
In VitroPalmitoyl coenzyme A lithium (100 μM) reversibly inhibits acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase activity from chicken hepatocytes and is competitive with citric acid and has an important role in the regulation of fatty acid synthesis in vivo.Palmitoyl coenzyme A lithium with a high levels in mitochondria reduces the entry of ADP, which leads to an increased inhibition of glutamate dehydrogenase by palmitoyl CoA.

Nα-Acetyl-L-lysine
N-Alpha-acetyllysine is a N-acetylated amino acid. It is a normal constituent of human urine with concentrations in normal samples too small to allow its routine detection; however it has been found at increased levels in the urine of a patient with aminoacylase I deficiency.
-
Adenosine 3,5-diphos...
Adenosine 3',5'-diphosphate sodium salt is an inhibitor of hydroxysteroid sulfotransferases, which are adenine nucleotides containing a phosphate group at the 3' and 5' positions of the pentose ribose.
-
trans-Aconitic acid
Trans-Aconitic acid is normally present in normal human urine and it has been suggested that is present in larger amounts with Reye's syndrome and organic aciduria. trans-Aconitic acid is a substrate of enzyme trans-aconitate 2-methyltransferase (EC 2.1.1.144).
