In VivoAlfuzosin hydrochloride (10 mg/kg, p.o.; single) potently antagonizes phenylephrine-induced increases in urethral and arterial pressures up to 6 hours post dosing.Animal Model:Male Wistar rats (250-450 g).Dosage:10 mg/kg Administration:Oral administration; single.Result:Increased prostatic concentrations to 4.1-8.6 times higher than plasma concentration.
