CLIP 86-100( —— )
Catalog No. M30272 CAS No. 648881-58-7
This is amino acids 86 to 100 fragment of class II-associated invariant chain peptide called CLIP. The major histocompatibility complex class II molecule displays peptide fragments of foreign proteins to trigger a defensive reaction from the immune system. Before insertion of the foreign peptides into the binding groove, a place-holding peptide CLIP is removed. This is accomplished by the molecule DM, which is shown to increase the dissociation rate of a CLIP peptide from class II.

Eugeniin
Tellimagrandin II (Eugeniin), with oral activity, is the first intermediate of the ellagitannin series derived from 4C1-glucose. It inhibits the resistance of Staphylococcus aureus by disrupting the integrity of the cell wall, leading to the loss of cytoplasmic contents. Additionally, Tellimagrandin II exhibits anti-inflammatory effects and inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, improving memory impairment. Tellimagrandin II holds potential for research in the fields of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and neurodegenerative diseases.
