Brief DescriptionGlp-1 (7-37)acetate is an intestinal insulin hormone that enhances glucose-induced insulin secretion.
-
DescriptionGlp-1 (7-37)acetate is an intestinal insulin hormone that enhances glucose-induced insulin secretion.(In Vivo):GLP-1(7-37) (0.5, 5 or 50 pmol/min/kg) infused during the second hour of a 2-hour 11-mM hyperglycemic clamp produces a dose-related enhancement of the glucose-stimulated increase in plasma insulin concentration and an increased rate of glucose infusion in rats. Infusion of GLP-1(7-37) (5 pmol/min/kg) from 1 hour through 7 hours produces a sustained increase in plasma insulin concentration relative to levels in rats infused with vehicle in rats with maintained glucose concentration at 11 mM.

Aminomalonic acid
Aminomalonic acid (Ama) was first detected in alkaline hydrolysates of proteins in 1984. Ama has been isolated from proteins of Escherichia coli and human atherosclerotic plaque. The presence of Ama has important biological implications because the malonic acid moiety potentially imparts calcium binding properties to protein.

RGD Trifluoroacetate
RGD Trifluoroacetate is a tripeptide that effectively triggers cell adhesion, addresses certain cell lines and elicits specific cell responses; RGD Trifluoroacetate binds to integrins.RGD Trifluoroacetate is the most effective and most often employed peptide sequence for stimulated cell adhesion on synthetic surfaces. There are 24 integrins binding to ECM molecules in a RGD dependent manner: α3β1, α5β1, α8β1, αIIbβ3, αvβ1, αvβ3, αvβ5, αvβ6, αvβ8, and to some extent α2β1 and α4β1.
