Brief DescriptionInhibition of brain mitochondrial β-oxidation by McN3716 (Methyl palmoxirate, MEP) significantly reduces the levels of all measured HETE and epoxytrienoic acids (EET), nonenzymatic auto-oxidative metabolites of ARA.
-
DescriptionInhibition of brain mitochondrial β-oxidation by McN3716 (Methyl palmoxirate, MEP) significantly reduces the levels of all measured HETE and epoxytrienoic acids (EET), nonenzymatic auto-oxidative metabolites of ARA, by 23% to 44% and 32% to 50% compared with vehicle-injected rats, respectively, except for 15-HETE which was unaffected. There is a significant 34% reduction in the level of 6-keto-PGF1α, a byproduct of PGI2 (prostacyclin) in McN3716-treated rats. Similarly, the brain level of hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acids, nonenzymatic auto-oxidative metabolites of EPA, is reduced by 35% to 76% upon McN3716 treatment relative to vehicle.

Reference
-
Picroside IV
Kutkoside is a mixture of iridoid glycosides namely, picroside II, Picroside IV and 6-ferulloylcatalpol, it may have antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects.
-
Ac2-12
Annexin/lipocortin 1-mimetic peptide; inhibits leukocyte extravasation. Reduces neutrophil adhesion and emigration, and promotes detachment of neutrophils from activated mesenteric endothelium in mice in vivo.
-
Nogo-66 (1-40)
Peptide fragment corresponding to residues 1 - 40 of Nogo-66, the domain of the myelin protein Nogo that inhibits axonal outgrowth. Acts as a competitive antagonist at the Nogo-66 receptor (NgR); blocks Nogo-66- and CNS myelin-induced inhibition of axonal growth, but does not reduce myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) inhibition of neurite outgrowth in vitro. Promotes regeneration of hemisected spinal axons and locomotor recovery following spinal injury in vivo.
