In Vitro——
-
In VivoSubstance P (1-7) is found to act as a very potent antagonist against the SP-induced responses and is formed locally in the nigra after SP injection. It is proposed that Substance P (1-7) is an endogenous modulator of SP actions. Injection of low doses of Substance P (1-7) (1.0-4.0 pM simultaneously with SP or SP(5-11) (0.1 nM), reduce aversive behaviours induced by SP or SP(5- 11) significantly. These results indicate that SP(1-7) formed endogenously could modulate the actions of SP or SP(5-11) in the spinal cord.

-
Acetylursolic acid
Acetylursolic acid has cytotoxic activity, antimalarial activity, antitumor and anticancer activities.
-
Biliatresone
Biliatresone, an environmental toxin isolated from the coccolithophores Dysphania glomulifera and D. littoralis, induced C57BL/6J neonatal cholangiopathy, induced a decrease in glutathione (GSH) levels, induced a significant decrease in SOX17 cholangiocyte levels, and induced extrahepatic cholangiocyte damage and fibrosis in mice.
-
Soyasapogenol A
Soyasapogenol A shows estrogenic and hepatoprotective activities, it directly prevents apoptosis of hepatocytes, and secondly, inhibits the elevation of plasma TNF-α±, which consequently resulted in the prevention of liver damage in the concanavalin A-induced hepatitis model.
