Brief DescriptionDermorphin is agonist of μ-opioid receptor (MOR) agonist.
-
DescriptionDermorphin is agonist of μ-opioid receptor (MOR) agonist.
-
In VitroDermorphin, a peptide isolated from the skin of Phyllomedusa frogs and the peptide receptor (NOP) component by the endogenous agonist nociceptin/orphanin FQ (N/OFQ). In displacement binding studies at CHOhMu, Dermorphin and DeNo displac the binding of [3H]-DPN in a concentration dependent and saturable manner. Dermorphin displays an affinity of 7.17, while N/OFQ fails to displace [3H]-DPN at the Delta receptor. Dermorphin and DeNo stimulate the binding of GTPγ[35S] in a concentration dependent and saturable manner at the Mu receptor.

β-Casomorphin, bovin...
β-Casomorphin, bovine TFA is an opioid peptide isolated from casein peptoneβ-Casomorphin, bovine(beta-casomorphin-7) may contribute significantly to mucin production via a direct effect on intestinal goblet cells and the activation of mu-opioid receptors.?
-
Hemorphin-7
Hemorphin-7 binds to the angiotensin IV receptor, triggering multiple effects including cellular proliferation and memory enhancement. Hemorphins are endogenous peptides belonging to the family of atypical opioid peptides released from hydrolyzed hemoglobin. Hemorphin-7 is investigated as a potential biomarker for breast cancer.
