In VitroVK3-OCH3 (compound 5) shows cytotoxicity with IC50s of 2.43, 1.55, 10.69, 3.45, 26.24, 87.11 μM for IMR-32, LA-N-1, NB-39, SK-N-SH, HUVEC, HDF cells, respectively.VK3-OCH3 (1, 3, 10 μM) induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at G2/M phase in IMR-32 cells.VK3-OCH3 (0-48 h) increases the expression of HO-1 in 8~24 h, and Caveolin-1 in 48 h in IMR-32 and LA-N-1 cells.VK3-OCH3 (0-48 h) increases the expression of phospho-p38-MAPK and decreases the expression of p21 and clusterin.
