    Clenbuterol increases lipolysis in rat primary adipocytes compared with control. Free glycerol release into the culture medium is 158% and 190% of control values in cultures containing 0.1, or 1 μM Clenbuterol, respectively.
  • In Vivo
    Clenbuterol (0.01-0.5 mg/kg; i.p.; male Long-Evans rats) hydrochloride reduces the cortical infarct volume in Long-Evans rats as measured 7 days after permanent occlusion of the middle cerebral artery.
