DescriptionITD-1 is a potent, selective TGF-β inhibitor that induces type II TGFβ receptor (TGFBR2) degradation with IC50 of 0.85 uM, enhances proteasomal degradation of TGFBR2; effectively clears the receptor from the cell surface and selectively inhibits intracellular signaling; selectively enhances the differentiation of uncommitted mesoderm to cardiomyocytes, but not to vascular smooth muscle and endothelial cells.
