  • Description
Imiquimod is an immune response modifier that acts as a toll-like receptor 7 agonist. Imiquimod is commonly used topically to treat warts on the skin of the genital and anal areas. Imiquimod does not cure warts, and new warts may appear during treatment. Imiquimod does not fight the viruses that cause warts directly, however, it does help to relieve and control wart production. Miquimod is also used to treat a skin condition of the face and scalp called actinic keratoses and certain types of skin Y called superficial basal cell carcinoma. (In Vivo):In animal models, Imiquimod stimulates the innate immune response by increasing NK cell activity, activating macrophages to secrete cytokines and nitric oxide, and inducing proliferation and differentiation of B lymphocytes. Imiquimod stimulates the innate immune response through induction, synthesis, and release of cytokines, including interferon-a (IFN-α), interleukin (IL)-6, and tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α.

Enpatoran is an inhibitor of TLR7(IC50 = 11.1 nM) and TLR8(IC50 = 24.1 nM). Enpatoran was found to be inactive against TLR3, TLR4, and TLR9 in vitro and in vivo.

  • CU-CPD107

CU-CPD107 is a selective agonist of toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) and also shows activation activity against ssRNA ligands. CU-CPD107 acts as an inhibitor of TLR8 signaling in the presence of R848 (IC50=13.7 μM).
